Namaskaram to the Supreme Power who governs this universe in the form of Kāmeśvara and Kāmeśvarī, residing at the Bindu. May You guide our path from the Bhupura (Earth) to the Bindu (Eternity).
The geometry of the Sri Chakra is based on the Dhyāna Ślōka (Meditation Verse). This verse serves as the blueprint for the Navāvaraṇa (Nine Enclosures), listing the components from the center to the outer edge.

The Nine Enclosures (Āvaraṇas):
Biṁdu (Point): The central dot located at the exact center.
Trikōṇa (Triangle): The primary triangle enclosing the dot.
Vasukōṇa (8-Cornered): A ring consisting of 8 small triangles.
Daśārayugma (Two 10-Cornered): Two rings, each containing 10 triangles.
Manvastra (14-Cornered): A ring consisting of 14 triangles.
Nāgadaḷa (8-Petaled Lotus): An inner ring of 8 lotus petals.
Ṣōḍaśapatra (16-Petaled Lotus): An outer ring of 16 lotus petals.
Vr̥ttatrayaṁ (Three Circles): Three concentric circles enclosing the geometry.
Dharaṇī Sadana (Earth-Squares): The outermost boundary of three walls.
Art as Meditation In the Vedic tradition, art is not just about the final image; it is about the state of mind of the artist. Drawing the Sri Chakra is a practice of Dharana (concentration). As you search for subtle intersections, your mind naturally quiets down.
For the Artist: Enjoy the symmetry and the satisfaction when lines meet perfectly.
For the Seeker: If you intend to use this drawing for formal worship (Puja), strict precision is required. If drawing for focus or peace, treat imperfections as part of the learning journey.
To ensure the Yantra is "Siddha" (perfect), observe these three rules:
The Center: The Bindu must be the exact center of the innermost triangle.
No False Triangles: Lines must meet exactly at single points. If they miss, they create extra "false" triangles, which must be avoided.
The Count:
Sandhi (Intersections of 2 lines): Exactly 24.
Marmasthanam (Intersections of 3 lines): Exactly 18.
Bindu: Dot / Point
Trikōṇa: Triangle (tri = 3, kona = Corner)
Sandhi Sthānam: Place where 2 lines meet.
Marma Sthānam: Place where 3 lines meet.
Śiva Trikōṇam: Upward-pointing triangles.
Śakti Trikōṇam: Downward-pointing triangles.
Grahas: The 9 planetary lines that form the base of the triangles (Surya, Chandra, Kuja, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, Ketu).
