Drawing the Sri Chakra is not merely an artistic endeavor; it is a precise alignment of cosmic forces. For decades, practitioners have struggled with mathematical approximations that result in imperfect diagrams. This site presents the "Self-Revealing" method—a geometric approach where the Yantra draws itself without the need for complex calculations.
Most modern guides treat the Sri Chakra as a drafting problem to be solved with a calculator. They rely on Pi ratios, arbitrary measurements, and "best-guess" approximations.
The Consequence: When you force the lines to fit a calculation, the central Trikona often becomes an Isosceles triangle (where only two sides are equal). However, the scriptures and the nature of the Bindu demand a perfect Equilateral triangle (all sides equal).
If the seed (the central triangle) is flawed, the fruit (the outer Avaranas) will be distorted. The intersections will not meet at single points (Marmasthanams), forcing the artist to "fudge" the lines to make them look correct.
This guide utilizes a method where no mathematics are required. Instead, we rely on the relationships between circles and lines.
It is Sequential: We draw a reference circle. The intersections of that circle reveal the exact location for the next set of lines.
It is Self-Correcting: You cannot move to the next step until the previous step is perfect. The geometry "locks" itself into place.
It is Meditative: Because you are not distracted by calculations, the act of drawing becomes a Dhyana (meditation) in itself.
The geometry is not imposed by the artist. It is revealed by the Shakti.
The method documented on this site is based on the lifelong research and teachings of Acharya Shri Popuri Sambashiva Sastry.
Disturbed by the inaccuracies found in common drawing manuals, the Acharya sought a method that adhered strictly to the spatial logic of the Vedas. His approach removes the "human error" of calculation and returns the process to the "Apaurusheya" (non-human origin) nature of sacred geometry.
The Source Material As detailed in his interview on the PMC Telugu Youtube Channel, the Acharya has openly shared these insights to correct common misconceptions found in modern drawings.
